About
Meet the Team
It all began during a mentorship session between Mothate Sewelo (Mentee) and Tryphosa Ramano. They discussed the idea of sharing Tryphosa’s insights with a broader group of young people, rather than limiting them to 1:1 mentorship. Recognizing Tryphosa’s ability to listen and empower, Mothate was tasked with bringing this idea to life.
Mothate enlisted the help of Vuyelwa Diniso, another of Tryphosa’s mentees. Vuyelwa took on the responsibility of creating a logo and brand positioning, while Mothate focused on developing a social media strategy. They are now the project leads on SATT.
And the rest is history.

Our Activities Performance

We've held six activities since launch in 2023. First event was lunch with 10 ladies who shared their aspirations, fears, vulnerabilities and their visions. Through those engagements, some ladies were recommended to sit on boards and also volunteer on organisations, for which some have been succeesful. The second event was a trip on a cruise to Portuguese Island where members were given space to be free, laugh, and entertainment. Members learned about the oceans economy and some are ready to pivot their careers to entrepreneurship. The third event was through a breakfast and members shared their visions, goals and how they want to accelerate their careers and tap into unknown territories. Some of members volunteered to assist with organizing seat at the table events. As it's customary for SATT, members exchanged gifts as token of appreciation and connection.
